Andrew LeeGet ready to be part of history! The KL Open Pickleball Championship 2025 marks the first-ever premier pickleball tournament in Kuala Lumpur, bringing together passionate players from across Malaysia and beyond.
Organized by CourtSite, the tournament is sanctioned and supported by leading sports organizations, Kementerian Sukan Dan Belia (KBS), Malaysia Pickleball association, and Kuala Lumpur Pickleball Association, with DUPR & Baseline powering the competition.

Tournament Time: 8am daily, 25 - 27 April 2025 (3 days)
Venue: Pickle Social Club, Kuala Lumpur

Tournament Format & Rules
The tournament consists of multiple stages: Round Robin, Top 16, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, 3rd/4th Placing Playoff, and Final.
Round Robin, Top 16 & Quarter Finals:
- Open Events: Traditional Scoring to 11 points
- Intermediate Events: Rally Scoring to 15 points
Semi-Finals:
- Open Events: Traditional Scoring to 15 points
- Intermediate Events: Rally Scoring to 21 points
3rd/4th Placing Playoff:
- Open Events: Traditional Scoring to 21 points
- Intermediate Events: Rally Scoring to 21 points
Finals:
- Open Events: Traditional Scoring to 21 points
- Intermediate Events: Rally Scoring to 21 points
Number of Sets
- All matches are played in 1 set.
Time-Out Rules
- Round Robin, Top 16 & Quarter Finals: 1 minute per team (1 time-out only).
- Semi-Finals, 3rd/4th Playoff & Finals: 1 minute per team (2 time-outs).
