“The Flying Pickle Team Championship 2025 isn’t just another tournament, it is designed to accommodate social intermediate players and we want to make it into a Pickleball festival,” said the Tournament Director, Tommy Yap.
With a massive RM17,000 prize pool and the nation’s most competitive players gathering at Dink Arena, USJ, this is the event that will define Malaysia’s pickleball scene in 2025.

Tournament Details
Registration Date: 18 Feb - 9 May 2025
Tournament Date: 10 - 12 May 2025 (3 days)
Venue: Dink Arena, USJ
Team Size: 5 players per team

- Mixed Doubles
- Men’s Singles
- Men’s Doubles
Day 1 & 2: Group Stage (Round Robin)
- Teams are divided into groups of 6.
- Each team plays two matches against others in their group (Total of 6 matches).
- Scoring System: Rally scoring (15 points, 14-14 @ Serve to Win) - Best of One Game.
Advancing to Knockout Stage
- The top 2 teams from each group move to Day 3’s Knockout Stage.
- Teams ranked 3rd, 4th, and 5th are eliminated.

Tiebreakers (if needed) are determined by:
- Head-to-head results
- Total matches won
- Game difference (total games won vs. lost)
- Point differential (total points scored vs. conceded)
Day 3: Knockout Stage (Elimination Round)
- Round of 32: Rally scoring (21 points, 20-20 @ Serve to Win) - Best of One Game.
- Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals & Finals: Traditional scoring (0-0,2 format, 10-10 @ Win by 2) - Best of Three Games.

- Overall Team Champion: RM8,000 Cash + Trophy RM1,000 + Vouchers & Prizes
- 2nd Place: RM5,000 Cash + Vouchers & Prizes

Team Entitlements
Each registered team (5 players) will receive:
- 1 Official Event Tee per player

- Team Entry Fee: RM780 per Team
- Total Slots Available: 72 teams

How to Register
Registration must be completed by the Team Captain only.
The Organizing Committee will contact the Team Captain to gather details, including:
- Team member sign-ups
- Team name and logo submission
- Any additional information required
- Players under 19 must obtain parental consent.
