Calculation Explanation

Round Robin: Each team plays against every other team in its group once.
  • Total Games = (Teams per Group) × (Teams per Group - 1) ÷ 2 × Play Format × Number of Groups
  • Total Time = (Total Games × (Game Duration + Rest Time + Warm-up Time + Extra Time)) ÷ Available Courts
Knockout Format: Includes Quarterfinals, Semifinals, 3rd Place, and Finals.
  • Total Games = Number of Teams - 1 (single elimination format)
  • Total Time = (Total Knockout Games × (Game Duration + Rest Time + Warm-up Time + Extra Time)) ÷ Available Courts

Recommendation: For smooth scheduling, it is ideal to have 16, 32, or 64 and etc total teams in a tournament.
