International Women’s Day Pickleball Championship 2025 on 8 March

The International Women’s Day Pickleball Championship 2025, organized by Active Ambition Events in partnership with Lululemon, is set to take place on March 8, 2025 (Saturday), from 8 AM to 7 PM, at 5, Jalan Kontraktor U1/41, Hicom-Glenmarie Industrial Park.

This event aims to unite women through strength, confidence, and community in celebration of International Women’s Day. Details as follows according to its website.

Novice (19+ years)

• Category: Women’s Doubles
• Team Limit: 16 teams
• Registration Fee: RM200 per team
• Eligibility: DUPR Rating of 2.99 and below; participants who have never won medals in any tournament.

Intermediate

• Categories
  • Women’s Doubles (19+ years)
  • Women’s Doubles (35+ years)
• Team Limit: 16 teams per category
• Registration Fee: RM240 per team
• Eligibility: DUPR Rating of 3.00 to 3.99

Open (19+ years)

• Category: Women’s Doubles
• Team Limit: 16 teams
• Registration Fee: RM280 per team
• Eligibility: DUPR Rating of 4.00 to 4.99

Masters (50+ years)

• Category: Women’s Doubles
• Team Limit: 16 teams
• Registration Fee: RM280 per team
• Eligibility: Participants aged 50 and above

All participants will receive entry goody bags worth RM50.

• 1st Place: Cash Prize + Medals + Sponsors’ Merchandise worth RM1,250

Scoring Format

Round Robin & Quarter Finals

• Rally Scoring to 15 points (single set)
• One timeout (1 minute) per team per game
• 15-minute medical timeout

Semi Finals & Finals

• Rally Scoring to 15 points (best of 3 sets)
• One timeout (1 minute) per team per game
• 15-minute medical timeout
