Introduction
Coach Lian is a certified Level 1 MPA pickleball coach with a dynamic background in the arts and athletics. A member of the renowned Sarawak band At Adau, Coach Lian blends creative energy with sports discipline. While coaching is his part-time passion, his impact is full-time, especially in rural areas where he’s been introducing pickleball to young children and community players since 2023.
He’s a former tennis player who transitioned smoothly into pickleball and has already earned recognition as the 1st runner-up in the 2024 ILP KPA Pickleball Tournament (Men’s Doubles). His coaching focuses on fundamentals, techniques, and fun, with a special emphasis on nurturing the next generation of players.
