Jimond SooGet ready for the VETRA Pickleball Tournament 2025, happening on 3rd May 2025 (Sat) at Grand Pickleball Arena (GPA), Shah Alam!
Organized by Vetra Pickleball, this tournament marks the launch of Project Nova at Hyprground’s new pickleball venue. Featuring Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles (Intermediate Level - DUPR 2.25-3.5), the competition offers a total prize pool of RM3,000.

- Registration Date: Starts on 26 Mar 2025
- Tournament Time: 3rd May 2025 (Sat), 8am - 8pm (1 day)
- Venue: Grand Pickleball Arena (GPA), Shah Alam
- Registration Limit: 32 teams per category
Categories Available
- Men’s Doubles Intermediate (DUPR 2.25-3.5)
- Mixed Doubles Intermediate (DUPR 2.25-3.5)
Prizes
- Champion: RM700
- 1st Runner-Up: RM500
- 2nd Runner-Up: RM300
All participants will receive a tournament T-shirt.
Schedule
- Men’s Doubles Intermediate (DUPR 2.25-3.5): 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Mixed Doubles Intermediate (DUPR 2.25-3.5): 2:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Tournament Format & Rules
- Players must have a DUPR rating of 3.5 or below during registration and no more than 3.6 DUPR during the tournament.
- Participants can compete in both categories if they wish.
Match Format:
- Group Stage: Round Robin, 8 teams per group, 7 matches (to 15 points, sudden death).
- Quarterfinals: Single elimination (to 15 points, serve to win).
- Semifinals: To 21 points.
- Finals: To 25 points (format may change depending on time constraints).
