Great Eastern Mall Picklefest 2.0 Social Tournament
Jim SGet ready for the Great Eastern Mall Picklefest 2.0 Social Tournament, happening from 14–16 November 2025, starting daily at 9:00 AM at the Concourse, Ground Floor, Great Eastern Mall. This three-day pickleball celebration welcomes players of all skill levels, no DUPR rating required, making it the perfect event for both competitive and social players.
With a total prize pool worth RM 15,256, participants can look forward to exclusive rewards including Facolos paddles, pickleball bags, Starbucks tumblers, trophies, and medals. Featuring categories such as Mixed Doubles, Men’s Doubles, Junior Doubles (16 & Below), and Senior Doubles (50 & Above), Picklefest 2.0 promises a vibrant and inclusive experience that celebrates the growing pickleball community in Malaysia.

Tournament Format & Rules
Format Structure:
- The tournament includes Round Robin, Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final rounds.
Group Stage Scoring (Round Robin – Quarterfinals):
- Matches played to 15 points using rally scoring.
- Sudden death at 14–14 (no deuce).
Court Change & Timeouts (Early Rounds):
- Teams change ends when a team reaches 8 points.
- No timeouts are allowed.
Advancement Criteria:
- The top 2 teams from each group advance to the knockout stage (Round of 16).
Semifinals & Final Scoring Rules:
- Matches played to 21 points using rally scoring with sudden death at 20–20.
- Teams switch sides at 11 points; one 1-minute timeout allowed per team.
