ARMOR Rising Star Challenge 2026
Jim SThe ARMOR RISING STAR CHALLENGE 2026 brings together rising pickleball talents for an exciting one-day competition on Saturday, 31 January 2026, from 8:00am to 3:00pm. This high-energy tournament is designed to showcase competitive play in a fun and spirited environment.
Held at Pickle Padel Pop, Balakong, the event features a total prize pool of RM1,900, making it a great opportunity for players to test their skills, gain experience, and compete for attractive rewards.

- Registration Date: Now open – 25 Jan 2026
- Tournament Time: 8:00am – 3:00pm, 31 Jan 2026
- Venue: Pickle Padel Pop, Balakong
- Registration Limit: Each participant must have a DUPR ID with a maximum rating of 3.259 at the time of registration.

- Group Stage: 8:00am to 1.00pm
- Knockout Matches: 1.30pm to 2.30pm

Tournament Format & Rules
- Eligibility & Registration: Players must register by 25 Jan 2026, have a valid DUPR ID ≤ 3.259, and arrive on time; 10-minute late arrival = disqualification.
- DUPR Compliance: Match results will be submitted to DUPR; ratings are checked using the highest DUPR since 1 Nov 2025. Any manipulation results in immediate disqualification, ban, and no refund.
- Group Stage Format: 13-point rally scoring, sudden death at 12–12, no timeouts or officials; top 2 teams advance based on wins, point difference, head-to-head, and total score.
- Knockout to Quarterfinals: Round of 16 uses 15-point rally scoring (sudden death at 14–14); Quarterfinals are serve-to-win, with 1 umpire and 1 timeout per team.
- Final Rounds: Semifinals, 3rd/4th placing, and Finals use 21-point rally scoring, serve-to-win at 20–20, with umpires, linesmen, challenges allowed, and 1 timeout per team.
