1st Malaysia The Dink Minor League Pickleball

The 1st Malaysia The Dink Minor League Pickleball is set to make its debut as an exciting two-day event bringing together pickleball enthusiasts from across the nation. Hosted at the Grand Pickleball Arena (GPA), Shah Alam, this tournament will take place on 6 – 7 December 2025, featuring competitive categories across various DUPR levels.

With a total cash prize pool of RM 30,000, players will battle for glory, experience, and ranking points in a dynamic environment that celebrates skill, teamwork, and the growing spirit of pickleball in Malaysia.

Tournament Format & Rules

• If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played, they’ll go to a Dreambreaker™.
• In a Dreambreaker™ one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player,switching players every four rallies until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points.
• MLPlay™ is an innovative gameplay format that brings men and women together on a level playing court. 
• In the MLPlay™ format team matches are composed of four 21-point games, one women’s doubles, a men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles.
