Putrajaya Pickleball Open 2025

The Putrajaya Pickleball Open 2025 will be held on 14-15 June 2025 at Kompleks Kejiranan Presint 11, featuring competitive matches across Men's Doubles (16+/50+), Women's Doubles (16+/50+), Mixed Doubles (16+/50+), and Masters (45+) categories.

With a total prize pool of RM5,600, this tournament promises exciting competition across all divisions.

This 2 days tournament offers structured group and knockout stages, with matches running from morning to afternoon.

Registration opens on 12 May 2025, welcoming players of all skill levels to participate in Putrajaya's premier pickleball event.

15 June 2025 (Sunday)

• 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Round of 16
• 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Quarter Finals
• 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: Semi Finals
• 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM: Arrival of Minister & Final Matches
• 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Prize-Giving Ceremony (by Minister)
• 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Lunch & Closing Ceremony

Tournament Format & Rules 

Match Format

• Group Stage: Round Robin to 15 points (no deuce or service win needed).
• Knockout Stage: Matches to 21 points (no deuce or service win needed).

Advancement & Tiebreakers

• Top 2 teams per group advance to the knockout stage.
• Tiebreakers: (1) Total point difference, (2) Head-to-head result.

Match Timing & Forfeits

• Teams must check in 30 minutes before matches.
• 5 minutes late = automatic forfeit (score: 15–0).

Line Call Rules

• Referees call kitchen lines.
• Players call other lines unless disputed, in which case referees intervene.

Rest, Injury, & Withdrawal

• No rest in group stage; 1-minute rest in knockouts.
• 20 minutes cumulative injury time allowed.
• Inability to continue = withdrawal. Head Referee has final authority.
