Perfect Sports Pickleball Club League: Season One Kicks Off in March

The Perfect Sports Pickleball Club (PSPC) League 1.0 2025 is set to take place from March to May 2025, culminating in an exciting playoff on 1 June 2025. 

Hosted across Hyprground PJ, Balakong, and P3 Kuchai Lama, this three-month event is shaping up a unique registration format.

With a total prize pool of RM25,000 (RM11,000 cash prize), players will compete in Doubles-only categories, battling for glory in a fast-growing sport that’s taking Southeast Asia by storm.

Tournament Categories

Doubles Categories

• Categories
  • Men’s Doubles (Combined DUPR: 7.500)
  • Women’s Doubles (Combined DUPR: 7.200)
  • Mixed Doubles (Combined DUPR: 7.200)
• Team Limit: N/A
• Registration Fee: 
  • 40 credits per team per session (Equivalent to RM40)
  • Credits can be purchased on the PSPC website, however, the minimum purchase for a first timer is at RM100
• Eligibility:
  • A phone call with the organizer’s person in charge confirmed that the combined DUPR score acts as a ceiling limit for each category
  • Players can join as many sessions as they like, sessions are on a first-come, first-served basis, with each session requiring 40 credits

Prizes Breakdown (All Categories)

• 1st Place: RM3,000 + RM2,000 Cash Voucher + Medals
• 2nd Place: RM2,000 + RM1,000 Cash Voucher + Medals
• 3rd Place: RM1,200 + RM1,000 Cash Voucher + Medals
• 4th Place: RM800 + Medal
• Quarter Finalists: RM250

League duration

• Duration: 1 Mar, 2025 - 31 May 2025
• Playoff & Final: 1 Jun, 2025

League Format

Regular Season

• Pairs will compete in league sessions across multiple venues
• Each session will consist of 5 pairs with a duration of 2 hours, where each pair will get to play a minimum of 4 games per session
• Playing Format: Rally scoring to 15 points, sudden death. Serve-to-win is only applicable when the score is tied at 14-14
• Each pair will earn 3 points for each victory and 1 point for each loss

Playoffs 

• The top 16 teams from each category with the most points by the end of the season will qualify for the final playoffs
• Date: 1 June 2025
• Venue: TBC, this will be communicated once it’s finalized according to organizer
• Playing Format: Traditional scoring 0-0-2 to15 points, no deuce at 14-14

3. Purchase credits to enter sessions (min. first-time purchase: RM100)
