Miri Closed Pickleball Mayfest Tournament 2025
Jimond SooGet ready for an exciting three-day pickleball tournament in Miri! The Miri Closed Pickleball Mayfest Tournament 2025, organized by the Miri Pickleball Association (MDPA), will take place at Paragon Pickleball Center, Lutong, from 10th – 12th May 2025.
This event is open exclusively to Miri residents aged 19 and above, featuring Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed Doubles categories, including a Veteran Mixed Doubles division.
Compete for cash prizes, trophies, and medals in a Round Robin & Elimination format. Whether you're a competitive player or just love the game, don’t miss out on Miri’s premier pickleball showdown!

Tournament Details
- Registration Date: 1 Apr - 2 May 2025
- Tournament Time: 9am - 6pm, 10-12 May 2025 (3 days)
- Venue: Paragon Pickleball Centre, Lutong, Miri
- Registration Limit: Reside in Miri at least 6 months and plays at local venues.

- Champion: RM3000 + Trophy + Medals
- 1st Runner-Up: RM2000 + Medals

Open Event
- Champion: RM1000 + Trophy + Medals
- 1st Runner-Up: RM600 + Medals
- 2nd Runner-Up: RM400 + Medals

- Team Event: 10th – 11th May 2025 (Saturday – Sunday)
- Open Event: 12th May 2025 (Monday)
Tournament Format & Rules
- Minimum 6 players, maximum 8 players, including Team Manager.
- A player can participate in a maximum of two (2) categories.
- Limited to 16 teams.
- General Players: Must be 19 years and above, reside in Miri for at least 6 months, and play at local venues.
- Veteran Players: Must be 50 years and above, reside in Miri for at least 6 months, and play at local venues.
