The Grand Rally Pickleball Open 2025 is happening from 11–13 July 2025 (Friday to Sunday) at Grand Rally Pickleball, Shah Alam. This three-day action-packed tournament is your chance to experience top-tier pickleball games across multiple categories, including singles, doubles, and a high-stakes team event.

With over RM120,000 in total prize money, players from all skill levels can compete for glory in one of Malaysia’s biggest pickleball competitions of the year.

Tournament Format & Rules

Punctuality & Walkover Policy:

  • Players must report to their designated courts on time. A 10-minute no-show after the game is called results in an automatic walkover.

Scoring Format by Stage:

  • Round Robin, QF & SF: Rally scoring (first to 15 or 21 points, no deuce, no serve to win).
  • 3rd Place & Finals: Traditional scoring (first to 15 points, no deuce).
  • Final rounds include umpires for score/kitchen faults.

Disputes & Officiating:

  • No umpires for early rounds; players make line calls.
  • For unresolved disputes, the Tournament Director will intervene.
  • In knockout rounds, final point disputes may lead to a replay if unclear.

Breaks & Timeouts:

  • No timeouts in early rounds.
  • Finals & 3rd place: 1 timeout (1 min) per team per game.
  • Hydration breaks allowed (max 30s), injury time limit: 10 mins cumulative per team.

General & Equipment Rules:

  • USAPA rules apply. 
  • Paddles must meet specifications; non-compliant paddles may be rejected.
  • DUPR & RECLUB are used for match recording—players must be registered and have a profile picture.
