Jim SThe Alliance Bank Penang Open Pickleball Championship 2025 will take place from 3rd – 5th October 2025 at Pickle Land, Penang, bringing together passionate pickleball players from across Malaysia and beyond. Over the course of three exciting days, players will compete across multiple categories, including Novice, Intermediate, Open, Veteran, and a thrilling Team Event.
Backed by Alliance Bank and Protech, the championship boasts an impressive prize pool of cash and premium pickleball gear worth over RM100,000+. From Protech paddles and bags to medals and exclusive rewards, participants will not only compete for glory but also enjoy a professionally organized tournament experience on 9 tournament-grade courts, supported with full facilities for players and spectators.

Tournament Format & Rules
- Competition Format: Group stage round-robin, followed by knockout (R16 to Finals); seeding based on DUPR or random draw.
- Scoring System: Mostly rally points to 21 (no deuce); finals and 3rd place use traditional scoring to 15; some categories (Open Doubles semifinals) play to 11.
- Match Regulations: 2-minute warm-up, 3-minute start rule, 10-minute grace before walkover; medical timeouts max 15 minutes.
- Venue & Facilities: 9 tournament-grade courts, washrooms, first aid, parking, and spectator seating available.
- Registration & Rules: Register via sportssync.asia by 26 Sept 2025; USAPA rules apply; official ball is Protech XP40; no refunds after payment (unless category cancelled).
