In a landmark move for Malaysia’s fast-growing pickleball scene, Pickle361 has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Malaysia Pickleball Association (MPA), officially becoming the Media and PR partner for the country’s national governing body of pickleball.

This partnership marks a significant step forward in building a stronger, more structured sporting ecosystem, positioning pickleball not only as a recreational movement but as a mainstream sport with national recognition.

A National-Scale Commitment to Sport and Storytelling

United by a shared vision to elevate the sport’s visibility and structure, Pickle361 and MPA will work hand in hand to drive national awareness, digital reach, and media professionalism across all pickleball initiatives in Malaysia.

As part of the agreement, Pickle361 will:

  • Serve as the strategic media and PR arm of MPA
  • Set up and maintain official digital promotional mediums for MPA and state-level affiliates
  • Spearhead media campaigns for major tournaments and national events
  • Co-host and promote a national pickleball championship event
  • Support grassroots development and pocket-level community activations

The partnership aims to ensure consistent storytelling, public education, and stakeholder engagement - elements that are critical in sustaining momentum for a young, rapidly growing sport.

“Pickleball, at its core, is a community-driven sport. But today, community-building happens through content and connection,” said Andrew Lee, Founder of Pickle361. 

“This appointment allows us to apply two decades of media and marketing experience to build the right bridges for pickleball athletes, coaches, and brands.”

Building Infrastructure Around Malaysia’s Pickleball Future

As the national pickleball calendar becomes more vibrant - with local leagues, international events, and youth programs, this partnership ensures that the stories, achievements, and people behind the sport are celebrated and documented at every level.

“This collaboration is more than a partnership - it’s a national commitment,” added Delima, Acting President of MPA. “MPA retains full strategic direction of the sport while Pickle361 strengthens how we reach the public, the media, and future investors. We’re excited to move together with purpose.”
