Play Pickleball, Change Lives: Fundraiser for Malaysia’s Junior Team

As of the 18th of March 2025, the sport of pickleball is rapidly gaining traction in Malaysia, thanks to the efforts of the Federal Territory of Putrajaya Pickleball Association (Persatuan Pickleball Putrajaya) and KWC Pickleball Stadium Organiser. 

This past week, they hosted a Pickleball Basic Introduction Clinic for School Children, a free event aimed at introducing the sport to young players.

The clinic was a massive success, drawing in more than 80 students from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Putrajaya.

A team of 14 certified pickleball coaches generously volunteered their time, ensuring that every participant received hands-on training and guidance. The event provided an exciting and engaging opportunity for children to learn the fundamentals of pickleball in a fun and supportive environment.

As part of their ongoing commitment to developing young talent in the sport, the Putrajaya Pickleball Association is hosting a ONE-DAY PICKLEBALL CHALLENGE on 22 March 2025. 

This event presents an exciting opportunity for pickleball enthusiasts to contribute to the Malaysia Putrajaya Junior Team Fund, helping the team move closer to competing in the Asia Pickleball Junior Championship in Vietnam.

How It Works?

• Book a court at Stadium Pickleball KWC on 22 March 2025.
• 100% of the rental fee will be donated to the junior team fund.
• The more you play, the closer they get to Asia.

This initiative is not just about the game - it’s about supporting young Malaysian athletes in their journey to compete at the highest levels. 

Participants are encouraged by Stadium Pickleball KWC to donate beyond the rental court fees, as every contribution goes directly toward the development of the junior team.
