The World Pickleball Championship (WPC), the largest and longest-running pickleball championship series in the world, is making its way to Malaysia for the very first time!

Rooted in the core principles of pickleball, WPC offers a unique tournament experience centered on inclusivity, competition, and passion. This is a gatekeeper-free zone where all players, from experienced professionals to emerging talents - compete on a level playing field, united by their genuine love for the sport.

At WPC, your background doesn’t define you - your passion and your game do. It’s a celebration of everyday warriors, underdogs, and dreamers who chase greatness through grit and dedication.

This is the true spirit of pickleball: welcoming, competitive, and driven by community.

What Makes the World Pickleball Championship Stand Out?

  • Since 2019, WPC has hosted 80+ events across four continents, involving 15+ countries like the USA, Australia, Europe, and Asia.
  • More than 60,000 players are part of the WPC global ecosystem, making it one of the most inclusive pickleball communities worldwide.
  • It is sanctioned by the sport’s global governing body and fully recognized internationally.
  • The WPC system introduces two key ranking structures:
    • WPC Ranking: Tracks top-tier competitive players in Open matches.
    • Global Pickleball Ranking (GPR): Tracks amateur and age-group matches globally.
  • Both rankings are powered by real match data and are fully integrated with Pickleball Global, the world’s largest tournament digital platform.
  • WPC Championship prize pools can reach up to USD 100,000, with Asia events attracting between 1,000 to 2,000 players each.
